WHEN WILL TRIP ITINERARIES AND HOTEL INFORMATION BE AVAILABLE?
Trip information, including all hotels, will be mailed 3 weeks prior to the trip. It will include a full itinerary page along with an information sheet about the trip. Luggage tags will be mailed at that time as well.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE REQUIRED FOR A GROUP TRIP?

WHERE DO TRIPS LEAVE FROM?
SGACOG trips leave from the State Headquarters in Tifton, GA. The physical address for your GPS is 33 Leroy Carver Drive, Tifton, GA.
We encourage travelers to make hotel reservations at a local hotel if early morning travel on the day of departure is a problem. You can request a Church of God rate at most local hotels. This discount is not guaranteed by SGACOG. These reservations are made on your own and are in no way connected to SGACOG group travel.
ARE THERE ANY CANCELLATION FEES?
Our Senior Adult trips require a $75.00 deposit, and that fee is non-refundable.
There are no refunds if you cancel within 24 hours of departure. No exceptions.
If you cancel within 30 days of departure, your refund will be pro-rated on monies that are returned to us. Please note that these cancellation policies are not set by SGCOG, but rather by the group travel company we are using at the time.
IS TRIP INSURANCE AVAILABLE?
Trip insurance is available and can be purchased if desired. Trip insurance information (cost/purchasing info) is located on the back of the trip flyer for your convenience.
Trip insurance is recommended but never required.
DO YOU HELP TO ARRANGE ROOMMATES FOR SINGLE TRAVELERS?
We occasionally have other singles who would like to share a room. Please note on your registration form if you would like assistance with roommate assignments.
WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY ON AN OVERNIGHT MOTORCOACH TOUR?
Most tours leave between 7:00AM - 8:00AM. We spend the morning getting to know our fellow travelers as we make our way to a rest stop mid-morning. Lunch is then planned between 11:30-1:00 at a convenient location with multiple fast-food options. If it’s a travel day to our destination we will allow for one additional rest stop mid-afternoon.
Our goal is to have you at your hotel no later than 6:00PM each evening. Once we arrive at our destination, the days will involve more touring, group meals, and other activities. As always, we try to always keep the comfort of our travelers in mind.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET MY MEDICATIONS AT HOME?
We regret that we cannot hold up the group or facilitate any special arrangements or to purchase additional medications for the duration of the trip.
IS THERE A BATHROOM ON THE MOTORCOACH?
There is a bathroom on the bus, however, we do ask that it only be used in case of an emergency.
HOW MANY PIECES OF LUGGAGE ARE ALLOWED?
You are allowed to take one carryon bag onboard the motorcoach. (This bag does not require a luggage tag.)
Your carryon bag is not the same as your overnight bag on travel days.
You are allowed to take two tagged pieces of luggage.
One of which is your overnight luggage bag for travel days. (Be sure any medications, CPAP machines, toiletries…clothes, whatever you deem necessary for an overnight stay must be in this bag.)
The other tagged luggage is your suitcase. There is no size or weight specifications required. However, should there be a problem with luggage handlers when we arrive at our destination, you must be able to handle your luggage on your own. We strongly suggest that your luggage has rollers for this reason.
AM, I ALLOWED TO BRING MY OWN SNACKS AND DRINKS?
Yes!! We encourage you to do so.
DO I HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN AGE TO GO ON THE TRIP?
We honor each of our church’s senior adult age parameters. No specific requirements are needed on the state level to participate.
