Bishop Gary Lewis is honored to be back in South Georgia to serve this great state. He and his beautiful wife Lori met while attending East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Gary has served as the International Youth and Discipleship Director of the Church of God. Bishop Lewis has also served as a Pastor, Student Pastor and as a State Youth Director. He also serves as a member of the Church of God International Executive Council.
Gary and Lori have three children and two grandchildren. Jordan and daughter-in-law Victoria (Elisha and Eden) serve as Student Pastors in Columbia, S.C., Jaren is a full-time student at Lee and Sara is in high school.
Women’s Discipleship Director

Lori is delighted to serve as the Women’s Ministries Director for the Church of God in South Georgia. Georgia born and raised (a Jesup native), she is fourth generation Church of God coming from a family who faithfully served in their local church. Lori obtained her B.S. in Christian Education and Church Music at East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she met the love of her life, Gary Lewis. She is a licensed Minister of Music and has been a member of the Chattanooga Harp Ensemble.
Lori previously served as the International Girls Ministries Coordinator for the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee while her husband, Gary, was serving as General Director for Youth and Discipleship. During her eight-year tenure, twelve books of new Girls Clubs curriculum were completed (teacher/student books for both Bluebelles and Joy Belles).
The Lewis’ have served as State Youth and Discipleship Directors (State Girls Ministries Coordinator) for 14 years in various states. Before serving in administrative work, the Lewis’ served as youth pastors in Kentucky and pastors in Alaska and Illinois.
She loves being a wife, mom and GiGi. Her brightest blessings are their three children and two grandchildren.
Lori’s goal is to see women step into their calling and reach their full potential in Christ.
